Micro-mobility / Palm

Turkey's leading microbility company Palm, was sold for $5 million USD to Fenix that is a company based in Dubai,


EV Manufacturer / Karsan

Karsan and Oyak Renault signed a 5-year agreement for Megane Sedan production, effective from the end of 2022. With the cooperation between the two companies, an annual production volume of 55,000 is expected. On the other hand, the company continues to develop and export its own fully electric and autonomous public transportation vehicles.


EV Manufacturer / Porsche

Porsche Marketing Manager Eskinazi said that they completed the installation of 100 charging stations across the country for their customers and all electric vehicle users in Turkey in 2020.


EV Charge Equipment Manufacture / Vestel

Vestel announced that it has reached an agreement for the production of electric chargers with E.ON that is one of Germany's leading energy companies.


Commercial EV Manufacture / Temsa

Temsa's fully electric bus with name of MD9 electriCITY was presented to drivers and citizens in public transportation with the request of Mersin Metropolitan Municipality. Temsa's bus received full marks from users as a result of satisfaction surveys and experiences.


EV Car Rental / Borusan / Enterprise

The electric vehicle rentals have grown 5 times compared to the same period of last year. Enterprise Turkey has added 50 fully electric MG ZS EV models to its fleet. Borusan Otomotiv announced that it has started to rent electric models of the brands they dstribute in Turkey.


Istanbul Airport / IGA

Istanbul Airport, which will continue to work on its zero emission target until 2050, stated that it has started electric vehicle conversions and vehicle charging station installations together with other sustainable methods and measures.


EV Manufacturer / FEV Türkiye / Tragger

With the cooperation between FEV Turkey and TRAGGER, FEV Turkey engineers will make fully electric TRAGGER vehicles into autonomous ones. 


EV Car Racing / Teknofest

According to the Automotive Distributors Association (ODD) data, electric car sales in the first six months of the year increased by a record 415 percent to 891 units. The best-selling model in the electric car segment in Turkey was the Porsche Taycan with 234 units. It was followed by Renault Zoe with 175 units, Mercedes-Benz EQC with 155 units, BMW ix3 with 144 units, and MG ZV with 140 units. In addition to distributors, there are also electric cars imported and sold from abroad in the market. When these are taken into account, the number of electric cars sold in Turkey is higher.


EV drivers / Victory Day

In Istanbul, electric car enthusiasts celebrated the 99th anniversary of the August 30 Victory Day by forming a "silent convoy".
