EV Sharing / GO
GO Sharing, which emerges as a Netherlands-based mobility initiative aiming to be an alternative to traditional transportation solutions, started to serve in Turkey on October 20. Having a similar working logic with electric scooter sharing initiatives, GO Sharing allows its users to rent electric mopeds per minute.


E-scooters / Traffic Inspection and adjustment of regulations
Traffic police conducted a comprehensive inspection of e-scooters on Bağdat Street, within the scope of the Road Traffic Law, 314 liras were fined for people using scooters on the sidewalk, 144 liras was fined for users under the age of 15 or drivers who violated traffic signs and rules. In addition, New regulatory decisions were taken by UKOME in Ankara for the problems encountered in the use of e-scooters.


Municipality /Ankara BB / Electric Bus conversion
Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş, who attended the handover signing ceremony held at BELKA Technology Center for the conversion of 7 diesel buses, which belong to the EGO General Directorate and have completed their economic life, to electric buses, said, “BELKA has accomplished a great job. We are making a first in the world and its patent has been obtained. Hopefully, we will deliver 22 buses by the end of 2022," he said.


Commercial EV Manufacturer / Otokar
Kent Electra which carried more than 2,000 people in 6 days at IAA Mobility 2021 in Munich, was in Spain and Romania as part of its European promotional tour. Aiming to contribute to the sustainable development of cities, the vehicle was tested by private and public transport companies in Spain and then presented to the participants at the Gala Tranzit event in Romania.


EV Charge Operator/ ZES
Zorlu Energy, with its Zorlu Energy Solutions (ZES) brand, won the tender for the establishment of an electric vehicle charging station network in different cities of Montenegro. According to the statement made by the company, the supply and installation of 15 dual-socket electric vehicle charging stations in 13 different cities of Montenegro, the provision of support services, and application integration services will also be provided.
